Your hair is on fire.
A country mouse visits his friend the city mouse in his modern home. The city mouse wants to rid himself of the country mouse, but the plan backfires and he's flushed down the toilet. He arrives in a secret underground city where he bumps into a jewel thief. He will need to help the thief if he wants her to help him get home.
"That isn't rice, that's maggots you're eating.".
David Bowers (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and Sam Fell (The Tale of Despereaux and ParaNorman) collaborate to deliver Flushed Away. The storyline for this picture is interesting and fun to watch unfold. The animation style is also pretty good and the voices are well selected and include Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Jean Reno, Ian McKellen, Bill Nighy, Andy Serkis, and Shane Richie.
"You think I don't know a toilet when I see one?".
I came across this on HBOGO and thought it would be a fun movie to watch with my daughter. She enjoyed it for the most part and found herself cracking up throughout the film. I thought it was above average but far from a classic. I thought it could have been more funny and entertaining. Overall, this is worth a viewing but not a must have for your child's DVD collection.
