Review of Flushed Away (2006) by Christopher C — 26 Dec 2009

I LOVE Ardman, but this really didn't grab me, apart from the excellent singing slugs. Not a bad film particularly, but not great and a shame the 'kings of clay' feel the need to take the CGI route of other companies in this one, when what sets it apart is it's great claymation, such as Chicken Run and Wallace and Gromit.

There's no denying though that they make this transition to the other medium beautifully; even if the plot and characters didn't quite engage me as much as their other work.
