Review of Flushed Away (2006) by Ian L — 11 Jan 2010
Inferior to the claymation Aardman productions and tries too hard to cram the dialogue with as many movie references as possible.
The best characters are the slugs, who retain most of their clay charm, and the frog who mimes, Marcel Marceau style. Both were far funnier than the rest of the film.
Other than that, a workable family film but, unfortunately, inferior to something like the Incredibles as family entertainment.
