Review of Fluke (2008) by Momo P — 19 Jan 2019

I honestly do not know why this film is badly received by critics. I thought it was a heartwarming film with a good lesson. Anyone can learn from this movie. Do not take life for granted. Do all you can with your family because you never know when your time will come to an end. I will admit if you are sensetive and or have sensetive children I would stear clear the movie can get dark for the little ones but if they can handle it I think this a good movie you can talk to them about life and death. Turn this movie into a teaching moment. I was young when I first saw this movie on animal planet and thought it was a cutesy dog movie but boy was I wrong lol. I ended up still loving it and now when I think back on it I am glad I saw this movie when I did. This movie didnt dumb anything down or make it cutesy and have a feel good ending it ended in a realistic thought provoking way and I commend it for that its not perfect but I love it. Sadly they just dont make movies like these much anymore. If you have time to spare and love animal movies please give it a try!
