Review of Flubber (1997) by Victor L — 28 Nov 2011
One of the worst films of 1997: heartless, pointless, old-fashioned, predictable, boring, painfully unfunny and terribly stupid. Flubber is a remake nobody really needed, specially if the original movie wasn't going to be improved.
Newer technology doesn't count as a valid reason. Robin Williams is overacted as always he agrees to play this kind of roles "for kids". What was Marcia Gay Harden doing in this crap? I mean, Disney used to make better movies for the whole family: innovative, with nice songs, good performances, intelligent message and saner entertainment.
I mean, I've seen those gags a thousand times, more memorably in Home Alone, and currently they've become unbearable for me as well!
