Zany, wacky fun-fill movie that will appeal to kids. Overall fairly fun movie. Robin Williams is a forgetful professor. Forgotten to attend his wedding to girlfriend Marcia Gay Harden twice. His robot assistant Weebo likes him, so didn't remind him about it.
The college they are working in is almost bankrupt. Robin is doing his experiment and created flubber. GForgotten about the wedding. His nemesis Christopher McDonald who always steal his ideas use the chance to send her home.
A rich kid son of Raymond J. Barry fails the class of Robin. He send 2 men to find Robin. They were badly hurt by golf ball and bowling ball when Robin is experimenting the flubber solution. He change the engine and make cars fly.
He goes to find Marcia and saw Christopher there. He make a bet with her if the basketball team lose, they will go on a date. Robin put flubber tabs on the players shoes. 2nd half the effect take place and they win the match.
Marcia still not going to forgive Robin. He plan to give up. Weebo finally know to love a person she must let go. Fly to Marcia and show her the recorded clip of Robin. They both patch up. The baddies want Robin to give them the secret of flying car which Robin refuse.
He sell it to car company to save the college. They break into his home and steal flubber, kills Weebo. She left a legacy behind, created Weebette. Robin and Marcia go find Raymond, open the flubber case and created big mess and defeated the baddies.
