Review of Florence Foster Jenkins (2016) by Lori Liz G — 13 Aug 2016

I gave this a three because of the acting. Meryl Streep gave a stellar performance as usual. And the rest were nothing to sneeze at. This is a woman who was completly out of touch with her lack of singing ability.

But had parasites surrounding her that fed her sickening ego. (Athough she had a sweetness about her) I dozed off briefly in the middle of it but got my second wind towards the end, which redeemed the movie.

Overall I am scratching my head over this movie and the seemingly good reviews. Perhaps I missed something from this movie, but I thought it was drab.
