A delightful bon mot of nostalgia to the days when men wore hats, not sunglasses and ladies were, well ladies. Streep renders yet another character with aplomb and her ability to inhabit her character is extraordinary.

Hugh Grant is long past his smarty pants Brit with a quick quip and his dialogue is delightful to hear. Simon Helberg is a complete delight as Flo's personal piano employee and he is a treat with his giddy reluctance as to the task before him.

There are moments of finger nails on the chalk board unbearable "arias" but alas Florence is so, so infected with the healing power of music that her will, endurance and devotion to music cannot be denied.

Knowing that the characters lived this story makes it all the more enjoyable. Go with the Flo, see Flo go and go you must.
