Review of Florence Foster Jenkins (2016) by Jlua — 01 Oct 2016
A great tragic-comedy turned film with an excellent script, memorable acting, and very funny and tender moments. Merrill Streep is, as always, memorable, with a probable new Oscar nomination for her collection.
Also very good is Simon Helberg, who IMHO also deserves a nomination for supporting actor. I personally found Hugh Grant the weakest part of the film. Very recommended.
