Review of Flipped (2010) by Ryan H — 09 Aug 2010
Flipped is cute and there was plenty to say "aww" at, but I just kept thinking I had seen all of this before in many hours of watching The Wonder Years, Happy Days, and repeated viewings of Stand By Me.
Rob Reiner's newest nostalgia flick has a boy who doesnt think he likes a girl and then likes a girl but girl doesnt like him anymore but then up up down down left right left right ba start maybe she does or do they? It's a formula that still works when something new is brought to the table, but gets old after about 30 minutes when nothing is.
Go watch My Girl again...or don't...probably don't.
