For some reason I thought (and hoped) that this was going to be a little different than your typical early-teenage coming-of-age/romantic story, but it really didn't have anything to set it apart. that said, I don't think your typical early-teenage coming-of-age/romantic story is necessarily bad either.
though I did like some of its repetitiveness when it'd tell the story segment from bryce's perspective and then juli's.
