Review of Flipped (2010) by Calvin D — 17 Mar 2011
Conventional and sweet. Is Flipped destined to become a kids classic? Time will tell I guess. For now, I will assess that it does a lot of things well. It reminds me of a personal favorite- The Wonder Years. The lead actors are more than just some pretty teens with no acne- They're fairly talented actors. And they're narration is on a short list of ones that actually work.
It really is a very charming film.
