Review of Flipped (2010) by Jessica C — 10 Jun 2011

This is a great "Wonder Years" type of movie. What I enjoyed the most about this pre-teen sweet and innocent film was the fact that it focused on things that were uncommon, like Juli being obsessed with the big Sycamore tree, and Bryce being concerned about being nice, but not "too" nice.

I also enjoyed the employment of showing the same scene over again from a different viewpoint. My 6 year old daughter simply loved this movie, and I enjoyed watching a movie that touched on the subject of love with her that wasn't too explicit or too old for her, and yet still gave me the warm fuzzies.
