Flightplan's far-fetched twists have little, or in some cases no reasons behind them. The twists that do contain explanations, are explanations that are just as far-fetched as the twists themselves.
However, Flightplan succeeds in portraying fine acting, setting, craft and a solid first half. This ultimately makes it a passable thriller, despite it's greatly flawed plot.
