Review of Flight of the Phoenix (2004) by August C — 08 Aug 2011

This movie is good for the action, and performances by Dennis Quaid & Giovanni Ribisi, but it is ruined by a bad script and the execution could have been much better. A guy goes out to pee and he can't find his way back to the plane? A guy gets shot at night and they are bring him back alive to look at him in the day? A guy starts walking into the middle of the desert and instead of letting him die, they risk the pilots life to go find him when there is no possible way he would have found him, let alone got back to the plane? The guy they bring back is an idiot and gets someone killed? I need to see the original.
