Review of Flight of the Phoenix (2004) by Dave C — 08 Apr 2008
A poor remake of the 1965 classic. They tried to turn a dramatic character study into an action survial flick. There's no depth to the characters and too much time is devoted to trying to make exciting action sequences. Someone should tell this director that less is more.
P.S. Giovanni Ribisi turned in a fine performance as the arrogant aircraft designer.
