Review of Flight of the Navigator (1986) by Lindsay W — 14 Sep 2009
It's a movie with a strong start, a good premise, and a believable family. Yet once we enter the ship, the movie degenerates into PeeWee's Placehouse, leaving behind the Sci Fi plot in favor of cheap kid humor, which is now extremely dated.
If I remembered watching this as a kid, no doubt I'd rate this higher simply due to nostalgia. But I suppose it says something that I don't recall this one at all.
