Review of Flight 93 (2006) by Krishna S — 11 Feb 2008
I had the opportunity of seeing this movie thinking this was actually the Greengrass version of it. Although it is a decent attempt at the dramatisation of the event, it pales in comparison to Greengrass's version severely.
The primary problem is the melodrama that is added to the movie which was quite unnecessary. This is not to say that the characters should not have been shown as emotional. Greengrass did that as well.
However, with a greater degree of sensitivity and a lot less of melodrama. That is where the film primarily falters. However, it is still a decent made-for-T.V. movie.
