Overall, not a bad movie in any regards. The end was very sappy, and having Denzel's character conclude his character's change and growth in an AA type speech cheapened the experience. Also, the relationships between characters was very shallow and could have been constructed a little better.
Denzel's performance was great though. This picture had high potential but disappointed.
