Review of Flight (2012) by Dinesh J — 06 Aug 2013
Much Like Tom Hanks in Zemeckis's Castaway, Washington's Performances is riveting and thought provoking and takes the film to a level it would not have reached with out him. Flight, Like Castway,does struggle a bit with story and pacing after the Flight takes place but Washington's Performance made me glued to every second of it.
Flight is not the film though I expected to see, because once the plane crash occurs, the film because more of a sometimes brutal and honest look at Alcoholism and addiction which some audiences may be uncomfortable with.
