Not what Audrey & I were expecting at all. In fact in the first 10 minutes, it felt like you were watching the wrong movie.
But once it got going, and things were set in motion, I truly found Denzel Washington's performance in this one to be a big draw. Of course I can sit there and say, "What?" "No?!" "Really?", a few times throughout, but Denzel's "Whip Whitaker" always managed to pull me back in.
While it may have taken the whole 2 hours to end up on his side completely, I was satisfied with the outcome at the end of the movie. Bravo, Denzel...you are truly one of the best actors of our generation.
