Not what I was expecting at all. I figured we would get a fantastical crash followed by a court room procedural. Instead we get a scuzzy Denzel working his ass off to be unlikeable and even still you wanted to root for him.
That man has charm for days. That opening sequence makes my fear of planes that much worse. Thanks to zemeckis and crew I won't be boarding a plane anytime soon.
