Review of Flicka (2006) by Aaron J — 27 Sep 2009
This is a compelling and compassionate film, that may only be considered a guilty pleasure. While its genuinely hearbreaking, and ironically heartwarming this movie suffices enough emotion from its lead, Alison Lohman, to make this a enjoyable sit down.
Even while the rest of the cast, exception of Lohman, is rather secondary and nothing but sub-par it doesnt take too much from the film. But, the beautiful scenery, story, and performance, again from Loham, make this an above average drama that could easily be watched again.
