Review of Fletch (1985) by Giffy G — 09 Jun 2008
I see why this is considered a cult classic, but I spent the entire movie mired in how completely impossible (not improbable, impossible) it was. Fletch should be arrested several times over, most of the evidence he gathers is completely circumstancial, and there are too many coincidences for one movie.
Sadly, too, the humor hasn't aged well. More sadly, the action scenes have aged worse. It was decent enough.
