I love this movie! "What kind of name is Poon?" "Commanche Indian." "Smile. Say flesh." "I love your body, Larry." "Can I borrow your toilet, my car just hit a water buffalo.
" "Moooon River, whoa, Doc! Ever served time?" Chevy Chase at his best and that's saying a lot, considering all the crap he made before and after this movie. Fletch as a wiseacre reporter investigating corrupt cops doing drugs and is roped into a murder insurance scam.
I dont know how that comes out to be a comedy, but Chase makes it work.
