Remember when Chevy Chase was funny? This is a blueprint of what made Chevy Chase such a big star in the late 70s to mid 80s. He is great to watch, and comes up with lines and scenes that are quotable for years and years.
No scene is dry in "Fletch", and where it's typical 80s, it's the perfect vehicle for any star. Thankfully, Chase was born to play Fletch and immortalizes the movie for any filmgoer.
