Review of Flawless (2007) by Frankie A — 18 Aug 2008
Don't be frightened off by Philip Seymour Hoffman playing a drag queen (he looks like Stockard Channing). This is a good film with great dialogue and compelling acting performances. The central plot can be summed up by saying DeNiro's character has a stroke and opens his eyes and heart to the people around him.
Of course, when he gets pissed off he stops stuttering - so that may need a bit of explanation. The movie is a bit of a mess but does have some great great one-liners.
