Review of Flatliners (1990) by Grey R — 18 Dec 2008
I haven't watched this movie since I was nine. I remember loving it then, though I couldn't tell you why. I can now. It's amazing. Everything about it except, ironically enough, the actual plot.
The 90's were so fucking kind to Julia Roberts. What happened? My stance on Joel Schmacher is that his directing style works in very rare circumstances, such as this and "A Time to Kill".
He should never be allowed near a comic book movie. We know this now.
