Sadly not improved with age, and feels very short to the point you wonder where the time went.
Stick through the uncomfortable bits including (Baldwin acting - he's actually quite good!) cadaver-cutting and Sutherland shouting a lot (cue "Lost Boys" rehash which he still uses for "24") and the underrated Platt proving that curiosity really did kill the cat. Perhaps...
Less jump-cuts would have made the film skip by less and detracted from its quintessential 80's-retro feel, but may have also taken from the ease of access to the drama...
Add death-scenes and you get most of the "Final Destination" series, so maybe Schumacher was right. This time. See "Phone Booth" for more Schumacher goodness.
