Review of Flashbacks of a Fool (2008) by Rachel G — 21 Apr 2008
Left the cinema feeling like i'd been on a short break or certainly craving one. The cinematography of the natural world of the seashore, against the highly synthetic, in all aspects of the word, superficial world that Craig's character has created around him is a great juxtaposition reflecting both the inner emotions of Joe's character and his outwood appearance.
Reminded me of Wuthering Heights by the sea for some reason which is no bad thing.
Loved his sister's character at the end - very random person. Great supporting cast.
I thought they did very well to find someone with nearly as amazing blue eyes as Craigs.
The antithesis of Son of Rambow which is more Boy's own. This is more guilty secrets.
Must invest in more Roxy Music.
