Review of Flashbacks of a Fool (2008) by Adele G — 24 Apr 2008
I so wanted this to be a good film. It was ok but I don't think the film depicted all that much of a hedonistic lifestyle really. I expected some major event to have shaped his life and although the death of a child is pretty major it all seemed rather emotionless.
In stark contrast to all of us sat in the audience who all laughed. I don't think this was the intention of the film makers. The scenery is beautiful, as is Daniel. The film isn't.
