Review of Flashbacks of a Fool (2008) by Kyle B — 12 Nov 2008
Okay, 5/5. It's an awesome movie about how the past, though we think we're rid of it, is always a part of our lives. Joe Scot, a seemingly unincumbered aging Hollywood star indulging in the sex, drugs and rock and roll life style his career choice has afforded him, is revealed to be a much more sensitive and compassionate man when his history is revealed through an extended flashback sequence that explains his rationale.
It causes, at least it -caused- me, to look back at my own life and realize how things I had pushed out of my mind affected my current behavior, not unlike Joe Scott. Awesome acting all around. Daniel Craig definitely has a career after he ages out of a plausible James Bond role.
Everyone MUST SEE this movie!!!
