Review of Flashbacks of a Fool (2008) by Mandy C — 09 Dec 2008
An interesting look at someone who loathes himself so greatly he spends all his time and money numbing his brain with drugs, alcohol, and sex. A bit difficult to follow and dry in the beginning, but when the flashbacks begin, the behaviors you see exemplified in the beginning start to make sense.
Definitely not a kids movie -- lots of sex, drugs and mature themes, but well acted and a good look at what happens to people when they live only for themselves. Craig is awesome, as always, as is his youthful counterpart in the flashbacks.
