A more dramatic turn for Donnie Yen with the martial arts used sparingly for dramatic purposes. Stronger use of grappling and wrestling techniques make this a very BRUTAL movie more akin to Dirty Harry, Shane, Westerns in general.
Not as well plotted or symbolic as SPL but a heavy set male machismo drama.
