Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Jim T — 07 Feb 2009
This movie is about windshield wipers. Windshield wipers! Even so, very interesting and engaging story. Not just a "small guy vs. big company" movie, either; it tells a lot of the American family and how it changes through the late 20th century.
The camera work isn't fantastic, and I also didn't get a true feel for what decade(s) we were watching (the movie doesn't even flat-out tell us). But the cast and the story is great, and it is not a typical movie at all.
