Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Jessica C — 27 Mar 2009
Worth the watch I suppose. His struggle is inspiring, but he leaves his family behind for years. There is redemption when he wins the case but none when it comes to his spoiled relationship with his wife.
Alan Alda's short performance as a lawyer is the most lively in the film. The rest is rather subdued and understated. Would have worked better as a 30 minute biography on A&E. 2 hours is too long for the subject matter.
