Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Matt D — 29 Aug 2009
A good biopic featuring an interesting story and a one-man mission. Kinnear is brilliant in the lead role but leaves little room for anyone else to get some acting time. Lauren Graham has another thankless 'wife' role which is way beneath her while Alan Alda hardly features.
The film falls down towards the end but the final court case picks up the pace and the heart-breaking exchange between Kinnear and Graham is brilliant.
