Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Wade G — 11 Oct 2009
A solidly entertaining based-on-a-true-story movie about the inventor of intermittent wiper blades (don't yawn!). Greg Kinnear is extremely good (the rest of the cast, including Top Fiver Lauren Graham, are just so-so) and the script keeps the story moving.
A minor gripe: the title cards showing how much time has passed kind of sucked. It kept saying "three months later"; "four years later"; etc..., and I lost track of what time period it was supposed to be.
Just put "August 1969" or whatever - much more helpful. Anyway, it probably could have been a bit shorter, but this is definitely worth seeing.
