Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Lee G — 28 Oct 2009

A respectable true "David and Goliath" story, which shows Kearns' battle to win recognition and remuneration from the "Big Three" automakers of the 60s and 70s. However, the stronger story, and the one left out of the film almost entirely is the family drama, how his decisions and obsession destroyed a lot of what he held dear.

Sure, in the end we see the aftermath, but how did we get there and how did his family suffer through it? Had there been more of that, this would have been an exceptional film.
