Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Joe T — 02 Dec 2009

The fact that this story is based on true events made the movie even more compelling. Especially to know that Dr Kearns only died a few years ago.

It shows how given the determination and the drive people can get what they want, however as the film shows, this does come with a cost, his job, marriage and even his mental health. Kinnear was superb in this serious role, which eventually saw good over the huge corporation who stole his patent.

I suppose the moral of this story is that, good things come to those that wait, but a lot of sacrifices do have to be made along the way.
