Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Akos V — 25 Apr 2010
An okay story but the selfishness of Robert Kearns turned me off to the film. I couldn't believe that he gave his happy life and loving family up, just so he could get credit for the intermittent windshield wiper.
Sure, I get how frustrating that would be to have your idea stolen from you and having your name on the product no where to be seen, but how much is that really worth to you? Is it truly worth giving up everything? Not in my opinion, no.
. And that frustrated me about this film. I will say, Greg Kinnear did a fine job and he's proving more and more that he's a talented actor. A bit slow, though, and not a movie I'd care to watch again.
