If this film comes off as extremely depressing, it's probably because it's a true story. A story of a guy who put his own pride over his family, and found himself in the end with nothing but his pride.
This is a story of a true to life tragic hero, while some of what he does is beyond heroic, turning down millions of dollars to stand up for what is right, he also let go of all his priorities for it, and it really sparks a lot of thoughts about different types of people, and what the 'right thing' really is.
That justice should always be served...but at what cost?
