Review of Flash of Genius (2008) by Kyle F — 01 Aug 2009
This was the best of the films we watched on our movie marathon this weekend so far...but that's not saying much. This film was at least compelling because it was based on a true story, but I thought the character of Robert Kearns, who sues Ford for stealing his invention of the intermittent wiper, was an asshole for how much he let this thing screw up his life.
If you want to see a better film about an inventor taking on Detroit rent Tucker. You get great performances all around plus an amazing jump n jive soundtrack by Joe Jackson.
