Flags of Our Fathers brings the viewer to a different perspective of what most people know about the battle of Iwo Jima. Aside from that it did very little to set itself aside from every other average war movie thats been made.
This was a very non-characteristically bland movie as far as Eastwood's resume is concerned. The movie was still interesting, but it dragged on and the acting was only so-so. Some of the cinematography was nicely done, but all in all I was definitely disappointed.
