Review of Five Minutes of Heaven (2009) by Judy R — 23 Aug 2009
Although the opening and flashback scenes are well done, much of what follows in "Five Minutes of Heaven" is overwrought. Liam Neeson's performance is sensitive and striking, but James Nesbitt frequently goes over the top, and the conceit of having him periodically interrupt his interior monologue with blurted out speech doesn't work.
