I remember watching this when I was about 6 years old. Luckily, the video store near me had it, so of course I had to rent it. Hilariously awful dubbing, a preposterous story, but it's just so much fun.
I think the story involves a group of fighters who seek revenge on these ninjas, but on the way they have to fight the Five Ninja Elements: gold, earth, wood, water, and fire. So much fun, and I also loved that the version I rented was recorded off TV from the 80s, and it had the commercials included, so it just added to the entertainment.
