Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Ana D — 22 Apr 2008
A simple, earthy film with rich characters and a poetically deep story. Nicholson's antihero is both loathsome and pitiable. the stark nothingness of these people's lives from the beginning of the movie to the end creates a relatable, naturalistic quality so often missed in today's cinema.
a really great drama in realism.
