Before Jack Nicholson was known for being...well Jack Nicholson, he was known to take on a few roles that were challenging, in movies that were challenging as well. Five Easy Pieces sums up the best of what the Hollywood New Wave could acheive, a thoughtful and enjoyable free form take on human beings interacting.
It's too bad films don't look like this anymore.
