Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Marco F — 14 Aug 2010
The requisite dashes of humour and Nicholson's trademark whimsy are used to good effect in this comedy drama with an honest portrayal of a self-centred man forced to return to the family and way of life he rejected years before.
I'm not usually a fan of Nicholson's work, but he's excellent in this, as are the rest of the ensemble cast, and it looks lovely on the big screen.
