Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Pravin A — 25 Oct 2010
Once we are introduced to the superbly imperfect main character, Robert Dupea, as an oil-drill worker in Texas, layers peel away as the film progresses to reveal a completely different world hidden beneath, a parallel universe trying to hold on to the same man.
And the journey between the two worlds is one of the best road trips ever filmed!
